1. VENUES

Millrose Restaurant Banquets and Country Store – This venue is unique in that it is six really old barns put together to form an awesome wedding location right off of I-90, very convenient for traveling guests!
The Onion Pub and Brewery - This venue is unique in that it is actually a brewery, very cool! Also this venue is located on Lake Barrington which is beautiful and serene.
Makray Memorial Golf Club - This wedding venue is stunning with it’s multi-colored stone work on the exterior, excellent for photographs and gorgeous pictures with off camera flash at night!
Biltmore Country Club - This very impressive club and resort is elegant and classy with extensive options and amenities.

2. PHOTOGRAPHER

Stunning Chicago Engagement Session

We cannot say enough how much we LOVE our clients!!! Jake and Kayla are no exception! From their proposal to their engagement, we have loved every second of getting to know them better and can confidently say that we have become friends for life! We can’t wait for their wedding this summer in Wisconsin! We’re sure that it is going to be more magical and romantic as their proposal and their engagement! Congratulations you guys! All we have to say is “STUNNING”!

Jake and Kayla were naturals in front of the camera. There was very little instruction given for these pictures and look how amazing they look!

What a gorgeous couple!

All of these portraits were taken at the Chicago Hilton on Michigan Ave. Special thanks to the hotel staff for being so accommodating!!!

Just a short walk from the hotel, we took advantage of the juxtaposition of their gorgeous outfits against the gritty city landscape. We think the results are amazing!

This has to be one of our favorites from this Chicago engagement session! Love it!

These signs were custom made by Kayla for this engagement session. We love them! No doubt these are a big hit on Pinterest

Jake was so great about matching his soon to be bride. Even down to his socks!

This small garden is located in front of the historic Drake Hotel in Chicago. God truly blessed us with a beautiful day for pictures!

We think that these images truly capture the love and romance that is shared between Jake and Kayla. We swoon every time we look at them!!!

HAHAHA! These pictures remind us a little of a Nautica ad. Just look at how gorgeous these two are! We’re a little jealous!

North beach in the spring is a little chilly, but that didn’t stop Jake and Kayla! They sucked it up for these stunning shots!

Being that Jake is a die hard Notre Dame fan, we had to take a moment and fulfill his fantasy of having pictures taken in his letterman jacket.

Carriage Greens Country Club in Darrien, IL

Bridget + Darren’s Carriage Greens Country Club Wedding

This wedding hits a little closer to heart. Darren is Megan’s childhood friend and they have known each other for years. Needless to say, Megan was in tears the entire wedding…LOL. We had a blast catching up with old friends and meeting new ones! Congratulations to Bridget and Darren. We wish you MANY happy years of marriage! -XOXO Corlis and Megan

We have to admit that one of our favorite trends is the custom wedding hanger! It is such a lovely addition to accent an already beautiful wedding dress.

Bridget looked stunning in her classic pearl jewelry!

We love the vibrant bouquet and boutonniere for the bride and groom!

While the bride was getting ready, we couldn’t help but feel the emotion and love that filled the room.

This was such a great wedding party! They were all super tough considering the somewhat chilly weather! Especially the ladies

Although Darren isn’t big on pictures, he stuck it out and actually had a great time!

Doesn’t Bridget look amazing in her dress! Darren, we have so say you look very “James Bond” here…all you need now is an Aston Martin

All of these floral arrangements are beautiful!

The sun pouring in to this small paved garden was simply beautiful. We couldn’t resist getting some portraits of the lovely couple!

We love this purple ribbon accented wedding cake!

The light was perfect at Carriage Greens to get great pictures of the beautiful reception details.

Crystal Gardens Proposal

Navy Pier Surprise Marriage Proposal in the Crystal Gardens

We have to give a special shout out to some amazing vendors for this beautiful proposal that took place at Navy Pier’s Crystal Gardens. Michele Velazquez from The Heart Bandits did an amazing job of designing, planning, and coordinating David’s proposal to Karen. Alexandra Jusino of Exquisite Designs provided the beautiful floral arrangements, all of the “Tiffany Blue” boxes, the table, chair, and the linens. And last but not least, Neil Dixon Smith provided the very romantic soundtrack with his awesome classical guitar skills!

We can’t say enough just how much we love this couple! Talk about easy to work with. Instead of us giving them instructions like “laugh now”, “give her a kiss”, and “hold her close”, they just did it automatically. They are soooooooo in love and we love it!!! We hope you enjoy this Chicago proposal!

Isn’t this proposal setup just gorgeous?! Exquisite Designs did a fantastic job!

Fun Engagement Session | Amanda + James

Worth, IL Reclamation Facility Engagement Photography

Amanda and James are a super fun couple and we had a blast roaming around the water reclamation park in Worth, IL. Even though we grossly underestimated the weather and were all freezing, Amanda and James powered through like a couple of tough soldiers.
